sorry sorry sorry

I have no excuses for my lack of posts. I am not too busy; just being summer lazy and loving it. We have been on the go a lot, but all in fun and there is no end in sight.
The girls are doing swim team when we are home, but we have missed as many days as we have swam. Oh well, that is what summer is for and I have no regrets. Pete and I got a 3 day trip to Florida, the girls and I spent the following week at Grandma's house with Cousins Jacob and Zechariah, then a weekend trip to Grandma Freda's house for a workout with Aunt Danna and Pops, then I had the Guerry cousins for 3 days and now all 7 grand kids are at the 3rd annual (or is it 4th?) cousin camp. Nice.
I am in the planning stages of a get away for the girls and I. Pete is crazy busy with his classes now so he will probably stay home with the dog while we run off and play somewhere. So that is that. We are living the good life and enjoying every minute. I am so grateful for my blessed life and family!
There have been teeth falling out all over the place. Reese, Ashton, Soren and Wyatt have all lost teeth in the last few days. When Reese woke up to see what the tooth fairy had left her, she found her treasures in Pre's crate. HeeHee. Soren got lucky; she lost her tooth at Grandma Freda's house and that tooth fairy pays more than twice what ours does!

I don't think they were out of their swim suits except to sleep. Oh yea, and I
made them change for church, too.

For some reason they decided to dress like this to watch a movie. Don't know.

The slide! It is still operational after three years! My water ran for 6 straight hours; that will be a fun water bill to get. ouch. But it is all worth it to see how much fun the kids have.

sweet kisses. gross.

an early morning meal before our ride out to Dickens and back. 6000 feet of elevation change! Nice! Grandma stayed at home, in case you were wondering.

Pops, Danna, Sara and Nana ready to hit the streets of West Texas for a cool (just kidding it was 100 degrees) 50 mile ride.

Trey gives Soren a quick lesson on the trumpet. She has decided to try band next year.
I wish I knew how many times we have gathered around that porch swing for a group picture. Priceless. Love you guys!

Living Museum

Soren chose Wilma Rudolph for the living museum this year

The Burleson Honey Tour bike rally

Pops, Nana, Pete, Reese and I rode the 51 mile route in the Honey tour this year. This was Pops and Reese's longest ride so far! It was hot, but we had a great time.

after the ride we hung out at the pool for a while and when we came home, this is what I found in my living room. Pete passed out on the chair, Pops on the couch and Reese and Pre on the floor. Good Day.

Spring Drama Recital

Soren and Reese finished their 3rd season in drama class. They are loving these classes and did a great job entertaining us in the recital.

Reese sings "How much is that doggy in the window?"

"I do hope that doggy's for sale!"

Soren played the dutchess in a scene from Alice in Wonderland

Reese's solo was to recite: "When the donkey saw the zebra he began to wag his tail. 'Well I never!' was his comment 'there's a mule who's been to jail!'"
