Soren and Reese both had very close friends move when school ended this year. Soren and a few of her friends surprised Tori with a farewell get together. They bought dozens of purple balloons (Tori's favorite color) and had anyone from school who wanted to write a goodbye note and then tied them to the balloons. We kidnapped Tori mid-day at school and brought her over to see the notes and then the girls decided to send all of the balloons off as a final farewell. Such a sweet group of girls. Tori will be missed!
Reese's friend Emily also moved on the last day of school. She was able to spend a few hours with us before she left and the girls came with me to the balloon store to get the purple balloons for Tori's farewell. They decided they needed balloons of their own and picked these cool flowers! Reese and Emily have started a pen pal relationship since the move and plan to stay in touch.
Reese's last day with Mrs. Massengale. She was such a wonderful teacher! It was a great year for Reese.
