This coming Sunday we get to leave for a fun-filled week in Denver. We are so excited. But before that day comes we have a week packed to the rim with holiday activities that will keep us on our toes. My to-do list is quite long but at least it is fun stuff. With Soren and all of her extra curricular activities and Reese's preschool we have 4 parties, a choir concert, a toy drive, and don't forget swim team and homework every night. Oh, and a swim meet this weekend before we take off out of town. No problem.
This past weekend the Guerry's came to stay with us. Pete and Mat played in a doubles disc golf tournament on Friday; Mat played all day on Saturday in the 30+ mph wind and won the tournament! Way to go! While he played, we played here at the house. Friday night we loaded all of the kids on bikes and went for a night ride to look at Christmas lights. On Saturday Kara helped me sew curtains, we watched movies, rode our bikes, and did not hear a peep out of the 5 kids all day. They played and played and played. The Guerry's left Saturday night and Sunday morning my girls were sitting at the breakfast table moping that their cousins were gone. They have so much fun together.
So now I better go get started on that to-do list. First I have to go find an elf costume for Soren's choir concert....Grandma Charlotte - I need you!!!
