Travel Day 3 - Wednesday 6/18

Day 3 : Denver to Belgrade, Montana via Yellowstone National Park! 723 miles
After a fun night with Danna and Trey, Pops and I were on the road out of Denver at 6:00 this morning with hopes of adding a little side trip to Yellowstone.
We cut over toward the park from the South and were able to go through the Grand Te ton National Forrest as well as Yellowstone.
There are no words to describe the beauty up here. My God is such a neat God. He put the most wonderful things here for us to enjoy.

Look how much snow is still up here!
Today's travel temp

Old Faithful right before it went off
There she blows!

Some of the boiling hot springs around the geysers
a close encounter with the locals

It is midnight and we just checked into our hotel in Belgrade, Montana. A few hours sleep and, tomorrow...on to Coeur d'Alene!
We should have less than 400 miles to go from here; I think. Too tired to check right now. Good night...

We were in Jackson Hole last July and hiked in Grand Teton's and Yellowstone...we LOVED it and can't wait to get back. Seeing your pictures made me want to go NOW. What an exciting adventure!
